We share information at the request of the authorities, for example police and security services, as well as other authorities, for reasons specified by the legislation.
Information about our customers is an important part of our activity and we do not sell or lease it to external parties. We only share this information in the scenarios described above, for the purposes describe in this privacy policy, under Laboratoires Cinq Mondes control and who are either subject to this privacy policy, or to whom rules apply that are at least as stringent as those described in this privacy policy.

Processing of identifying and location data linked to electronic communication
Laboratoires Cinq Mondes treats all data and all messages created during communication confidentially. Our staff are bound by a confidentiality agreement and prohibited from using messages or other confidential information. Communications via a network always leave a trace.
These network traces are called identifying data as they can be connected to a person.
Network traces are created, for example, during phone calls, when sending emails and text messages or browsing the internet. They may contain information about the correspondents, the connection route or routing, the data transfer protocol used, the event and the terminals used or their location.
Laboratoires Cinq Mondes manages identifying and location data in accordance with current legislation for the purpose of, for example, implementing and using services, invoicing, technical development, consent or marketing. Data may also be used for invoicing other service providers insofar as that may be necessary.
Laboratoires Cinq Mondes may also manage identifying data in the event of abusive use, violation of data security or to repair a breakdown. In all the above situations, we only process identifying and location data insofar as it is necessary to accomplish a specific task.
Use of location data
An actual location method whereby one person may follow or find another person requires the consent of the person being located. The customer cannot be located at all if they deny access to geolocation services.
If we pass location data to location service providers, we shall ensure by appropriate means that consent has been granted by the person being located.
People authorised to manage identifying and location data
Only specific people within Laboratoires Cinq Mondes, whose job requires access to identifying and location data may process these data.
In practice, authorisation is only granted to people carrying out tasks related to invoicing, maintenance or development of network or communication services, prevention and investigation of abuse, customer services and marketing. People who have the right to handle data may only manage them insofar as required for individual tasks.
Duration of identifying and location data processing and data storage
We process identifying and location data as long as necessary for the purposes of invoicing, technical development, repairing breakdowns, marketing, enquiries into misuse or data security.
However, data handling only takes place insofar as it is required by these actions and shall not unduly compromise the confidentiality of a message or the protection of private life.
We store data required for invoicing for a least one year from the invoice due date and for a period of not more than three years from the invoice due date, unless required to retain data for a longer period for the purpose of invoice payment. Otherwise, data is stored to the extent permitted and required by current legislation.
Websites, tracking visits
We also gather data about visits to our website. These data include the IP address and the corresponding DNS, the organisation registered at the IP address, the name and address of the page visited, the page loading time and type of browser.
Please note that the IP address is an identification required for the internet to work. It is used to direct messages sent via the internet to the appropriate locations. As a general rule, the IP address is not linked to the person using a computer, but it may be linked to the organisation that has registered the IP address. The IP address link may be established at the request of the authorities.
